California is losing film business to states like Georgia, Louisiana and North Carolina who offer an attractive combination of low costs, technical talent, incentives, and infrastructure to production companies. So far, Louisiana's film revenue is $362.3 million this year, while Georgia had a whopping $1.375 billion in 2009. The Southeast film industry has built a true critical mass of production and post-production activity to sustain ongoing work in the region.
